Are you going through a tough time?

What will help you keep your sanity when you are at your wit’s end?
David writes,
Your love, LORD, reaches to the heavens,
your faithfulness to the skies. (Ps. 36:5)
Imagine yourself in a country setting without tall buildings to block your view, like the landscape David would have known. Now look up to the sky. What can reach up there? Maybe you see birds flying, but you know the sky is much higher. How can you ever reach such heights? An ancient person would have answered, “It’s utterly impossible.”
But according to David, God’s love and faithfulness reach to the skies. Now see yourself in that same field from a distance. Notice how small you are in comparison with the height of the sky.
What’s the big deal? God’s faithfulness is as high as the sky.
I don’t know how or when, but God is going to overwhelm you with his faithfulness. Your little life with its struggles and trials is nothing compared to divine faithfulness that reaches to the skies.
