- Divine Judgment/Curse (Gen. 3-11)
- The Universal Blessing Begins: God’s Promise to Abraham (Gen. 12-25)
- The Universal Blessing Continues: The Story of Abraham’s Descendants (rest of OT)
a. Israel’s Slavery, Freedom, and Worship (Exodus-Leviticus)
b. Israel’s Wandering (Numbers) and Settlement (Joshua)
c. The Rule of Israel’s Kings and the Message of Israel’s Prophets (1 Samuel – 2 Kings, the prophets)
d. Israel’s Exile (Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel)
e. Israel’s Restoration (Ezra, Nehemiah)
