The Uncreated Kingdom

Is the kingdom of God created or uncreated?

The book of Hebrews says:

At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.” (12:26-29)

What can be shaken?

Created things.

Since God’s kingdom cannot be shaken, it must be uncreated.

What does that mean?

It has always existed.

The eternal kingdom is the realm where the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit dwell in power and glory.

Since the triune God has always existed, the kingdom has always existed.

And God is pleased to give his people this unshakeable uncreated kingdom.

My journey into the world of writing started in 2009 when we returned to the U.S. after six years in Singapore. I had a writing agent for about a year, but publishers always wanted to know about the size of my platform and how I was going to market my books. Since I didn’t have a big platform, I decided to self-publish. I enjoy writing, but it’s not easy being an independent author and marketing is not one of my strengths so I am grateful for every bit of support I receive.

If you would consider writing an honest review on Amazon and/or Goodreads for my new book, The Wonder of the Trinity, I would be happy to send you a free PDF review copy. If you are interested, send me an email at biblebridge@gmail.com. Thanks for considering.
